Sorry Canon but his one is a dog! Shooting performance is fairly slow, which sadly is average for its class.
For confident photographers who want more input into how they capture their images, full manual control allows them to individually control shutter speed and aperture caonn shoot with their chosen settings and create their own effects. If you're looking for a wide variety of shooting options, the SX IS will likely have plenty for you to experiment with.
